Positivity among family-run businesses and SME's about their economic outlook for 2010 has increased "dramatically".
That's according to a new study of 500 firms by business advisers Grant Thornton which showed they were much more optimistic about their prospects than a year ago.
Revenue predictions among the family businesses, entrepreneurs and small to medium sized firms polled also increased, while profit expectations were "buoyant".
Two in five firms expected to see an upturn in the economic climate in the second half of 2010 while 20 per cent believed it would come earlier.
