PayPal users can now feel extra secure their online purchases are safe thanks to the service's new text feature.
It's now possible to authorise every transaction via a mobile phone.
Users just have to register their number on PayPal's website and when a purchase is made the user receives a text with a special six-digit security code.
So to complete the payment the buyer needs to input the code to confirm the transaction is genuine and not a fraudster.
The service comes at no extra cost other than the network rate of a text message.
