Small firms should
build a website as the last five years has seen a boom in the amount of new entrepreneurs in the UK, according to new research.
A study by Experian has revealed that the amount of small businesses has lept by a massive 117 per cent since 2005.
The huge growth is said to be due to the increase in businesses consisting of only one or two people running the show – with establishments of this size contributing a ratio of 41 per cent overall.
Managing Director, Experian UK & Ireland, Charlotte Hogg, said: "Our analysis reveals that the UK's smallest businesses have been surprisingly resilient during the economic downturn and have also seen their population skyrocket in the last five years."
