New research claims people in the UK are paying less for communications services like broadband, landlines and mobile phones than in places like France, Germany and the US.
Ofcom's found prices have generally fallen since 2008, and the average communications package is 28 per cent lower than in the next cheapest country, Italy.
That's good news for small businesses who've seen the price of other essentials such as energy and transport costs soar in recent years.
The research also shows the number of broadband lines is growing, with the UK having the second highest growth out of the 12 countries Ofcom looked at, beaten only by the Netherlands.
Meanwhile businesses in the UK are embracing advertising on the web, with the internet accounting for nearly a quarter of all advertising.
