Season’s greetings!
|
|
Welcome to the December issue of Mr Site’s newsletter – the team has had an exceptionally busy month so far and as a result we have lots of exciting new features to tell you about...our first big announcement is the arrival of Mr Site Live Chat!
You may already be aware that we recently trialled a Live Chat support service and due to an overwhelmingly positive response, we are very pleased to announce that this will now be running permanently, for all customers. This means you’ll be able to get support from the Mr Site team seven days a week, open up to 21 hours a day. Even better news is that Live Chat will be open as normal all over the festive period, too! Read more
Another feature you may already have noticed is your new Mr Site webmail. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing you with the best possible service, we have upgraded this, along with our email storage system. As a result you will see a noticeable difference in the performance of your Mr Site webmail – and if you are using Outlook, MacMail or any other email software to download your emails, you’ll also see the benefits, too. As part of this essential upgrade we have also made all passwords for your Mr Site webmail case sensitive, as this will further improve the security of your email. Read more

Expert of the month

As you are all probably aware, from the 4th January 2011 VAT in the UK will be increasing to 20%. To ensure all our business customers are prepared for the change, we asked our friend Duane Jackson, Managing Director and Founder of accounting software KashFlow, for some helpful advice to keep your accounts flowing:
"Another new year, another change to the standard rate of VAT. After dropping to 15% in 2009 it reverted to 17.5% in 2010…and now for 2011 the VAT man has decided the new rate will be 20%.
The financial impact of this change will vary from business to business – if you mainly sell to other VAT registered businesses then the effect should be unnoticeable. If anything there’s a positive element to it, as it means you’ll have slightly more cash flowing through your bank account."

And coming soon from Mr Site...

2011 promises lots of upgrades for your Takeaway Website account – not to mention some new products to add to our range. The first thing you’ll spot over the next few weeks is the ‘My account’ section, which will allow you to have full control over your Takeaway Website settings and manage them all in one place. We’ll let you know more about this great new addition next month and send you an email with full instructions when ‘My account’ section is added to your account.
